The Things Kids Say
I wish I would remember to jot down all the cute little things the kids say because there are so many of them. Some of it I need to videotape like the funny little noise Kiersten makes when she's saying "yes" (it's kind of like an enthusiastic "Ha"). Annika is absolutely adorable when she sings 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" or when she says "awright".
We've told the kids that if they are feeling like they need attention to come tell us. Oskar's gotten good about that...and he frequently tries to steer me into the specific attention he wants. "Mommy, I need attention of you building me a lego car wash" or whatever it might be. Frequently something to do with legos though because he's OBSESSED with legos. :)
So this morning I made the kids a fort in the basement and they're down there playing house. I heard Annika hammering away, presumably making repairs. A little later I heard Oskar talking lovingly to his "baby" (Kiersten? a doll?) saying, "Do you need some attention?"
